Walking into this St Pierre’s Sushi & Bento Bowl it was very quiet as was 7:30pm I suspect - they close at 8pm, in fact there were no other customers until 2 more arrived shortly after I entered. Approached the counter area of the sushi side of this eatery and was disappointed to see that all but a few remaining pre-made sushi packet combinations remained. However it was nearing their closing time so restocking was clearly not being done for this reason and I was able to get my order made fresh so a big plus there. Making my request I was met with a very reluctant attitude from the St Pierre’s assistant which was a shame and I suspect she was possibly tired. The sushi itself once we got home to eat it - which was only a 5 minute drive away - was very dry, bland and not at all enjoyable. We have had sushi from other St Pierre’s stores in CHCH and never encounter this poor standard of sushi. That with the poor service all contributed to our low rating for our experience on this occasion. I would like to think this was a one off and not something that happens often however it did for us on this visit which was disappointing given the price and time we invested.
Very friendly people, that are willing to make you fresh tofu dragon roll or sunfed sushi which are vegetarian options, they also serve anari. Everything is so fresh highly reccomend this place and any other shush StPierre's place. The inside is a typical take away place. But at least they have a toilet they dont mind you using..Wether your eating or ordering from there. Which is great comparison to a lot of other places even cafes that dont let you use there tiolet.
Is always very tasty...healthy choices of all types of sushi..fun to watch the busy street scene here in relative peace..clean and healthy place to eat...nMy girl loves here just as much as I...…..!!!!!!!!!
I’ll keep it short and sweet. My katsu was burnt black. Never had this before with Pierre’s before. Was not happy but still ate it
Extremely rude Asian lady in the counter. No greeting or smile just the rudeness. Worst experience ever. Ruined my entire evening
