Normally a decent place, but they seem to be messing with portion sizes, normally the Katsu chicken on rice comes with a full chicken katsu sliced, now it seems you only get three fingers. I notice prices going up also.
My family LOVE this place! The glorious food is always fresh, hot & very flavoursome & your “always” greeted by not one but a few of the Staff on arrival, even at their busiest of times. Now that’s what I call great service!!

Masterpiece sushi is served here. Lots of selections for you. Order and pay at the counter. Or order a made-to-order menu. Then pick up a drink. Wonderful dinner for me!
Was great when you 1st arrived a couple years back, but since new staff have attitude or english is their 2nd language, it makes it harder for the shy customers to speak up. When ordering a spicy chicken mix, youd expect hot spicy chicken. Not cold band chicken for the $7 you spend getting only 4 small bites. We have mentioned it to you one a number of times that's what we are receiving and you correct it on the spot, however, with your new staff, they have this problem of either not understanding what we are saying, or just dont give to hoots. This has happened too many times, Napier, so you no.longer have our business. Its the little things like this that niggle away at each customer and it's simply not worth coming it to only be disappointed once more.
Favorite Sushi place, always consistent and really nice staff. My daughter is obsessed with this place, I love the teriyaki chicken, like I said consistent everytime. Well priced, clean, quick service, and damn tasty ;
Always busy but I wouldn't recommend this place. Have had nice food from other St Pierres stores but not this one unfortunately Also had a family member become sick after eating from here Parking: Big countdown carpark next door
Had a Bento bowl which was great. Atmosphere inside was very warm and stuffy in afternoon sun.Food: 5/5
Just got home with our meal and it was so good best udon noodles, karaage and sushi ive had in napier I ordered just befor closing my 3 meals were made in less than 5 minutes thanks to the staff on this night . 1/4/23
Here in NZ, it's difficult to get proper sushi. They won't even serve the tuna raw, but you can get raw salmon. St. Pierre's is a good place for raw salmon sushi. Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food here and will usually eat either the chicken sushi roll or a chicken and rice dish.
