The St. Mary's fairgrounds is always a great experience. We've been for the fair and for their spring festival. We always have a blast with our twins. We will start going to more happenings here because we always have a lot of fun!
Everyone in st. Mary's county knows that the fair is the place to be at come there time family activities, carnival rides, cotton candy funnel cakes, carnival games, lots of different vendorslots of different foods pony rides all different types of animals to look at the list goes on and on
The fair was boring. There were more vendors there than things to do. Next time actually have something for the guess to do.
Food was great and good time for the family!
We had a wonderful time. The lines were terrible for most of the best rides. But the rest was pretty fast. The food was delicious
Update: I have been to a couple of other fairs, and while the St. Mary's fair is certainly good as is, some other fairs have adopted the concept of one price. For $10 you get entry and unlimited rides. That certainly would make the St Mary's fair a better value. Great time. Check the schedule for ride deals, a few days they offer all you can ride for a fixed fee, Friday during the day they offer on ticket rides for kids. They have a good assortment of food choices as well. They display prize winning produce and animals to see. They also have various shows each day. Good stuff.
Went here for the oyster festival the prices were expensive for the food 10 fried oysters were $15 and that’s on top Of the entry fee they also had individual oysters for about $2 a piece. So it’s not something you can attend and just spend $10 or $20 you will spend a lot they should consider changing the way they operate this function and more HOT food options would be good.
It's 2022 St Mary's County. If you're gonna charge $10 a head to get in to the fair you really need to start accepting credit cards. The fair was nice, buy until you get into the 21st century, I'll keep my review at 2 stars thank you.
Crab Fest LOVE IT! We had a blast. Car show was awesome. Cars of my youth are now classics. Food choices we're varied and all delish. Recommend Ridge FD use small cups for snow cones. Paper tubes disintegrated before treat was half consumed. It looked good And we're very lively . We had soft shell sandwiches and they were delicious crabs tasted very very fresh and we're well cooked. Crafts and displays were interesting and I found a few things that needed to go home with us. Put it on your calendar for next year.. I cannot wait for the oyster festival.
Small and crowded. Long ride lines. No help on parking.
