The academy was established in 1992 by the Whangarei Area Committee of St John in conjunction with RoadSafe Northland.
We provide training for all stages of class one (cars) licensing and driving - this includes:
Manual and Automatic vehicle transmission
Learner licence courses
Restricted licence driving lessons
Defensive Driving "Street Talk" courses
Full licence driving lessons
Driver Retraining courses (Court or Police referrals)
Driving Assessments and rehabilitation courses (community organisations) - Practical and Theory
Corporate refreshers and assessments
Unit Standard assessments (3400 series and others)
We also provide training for new Ambulance drivers.
The academy has the experience and ability to develop courses to fit the requirements of any client - and to deliver this to a very high standard.
