St Barnabas village church is part of the Motueka Anglican parish.
Services are held regularly at St Barnabas. The first Sunday of each month is a Maori Mission service at 10.30am. The service is in Maori - usually taken from the New Zealand Prayer Book (page 476) with the English translation on the opposite page. The sermon is in English.
On the second and fourth Sundays there is a communion service at 9am - usually taken from the Prayer Book but sometimes more informal services are held.
We welcome anyone to join us from other denominations - all are welcome to share Communion with us.
After the second Sunday of the month service we share a cuppa and chat.
The church is available for weddings and funerals. Contact 03 5288453 or 03 5288825.
