We came to hear the music students singing. The drums were too loud, the singing was too quiet and the acoustics were bad but we didn't expect anything better.
Visited on Saturday great building and friendly people made to feel welcome. Great supporters for Israel so they will be blessed for their commitment to God's chosen people and land. Keep up the great work May God bless you and your families.
This is an amazing place for worship in a great community of believers who are both supportive and kind, as they are genuine. They have many programmes on offer for children of all ages, and courses for adults too. Keep up to date for courses, worship times, workshops, and more, on the St Albans website.
We returned from overseas nearly 4 years ago, and returned to fellowshipping at St Albans, and my wife was working for them part time. They were very encouraging and helpful in our transition back to Kiwi life, and helped us get settled in many ways. People unpacked our house, suggested jobs that I could apply for, and gave us things we needed like a washing machine. They have helped quite a range of people and seem to have a very active outreach into their local community. Have since moved on but look back with gratitude to my time of worshipping with this fellowship.
I attended this place about a decade ago. I found the experience traumatizing. Not recommended. At that time this church had a major problem with gossip. It was cliquey. These problems went right to the top. One of my first memories was of an elder bad-mouthing a woman who fortunately I did not know in her absence. There were other elders there but no rebuke came. I was to find out that this is how they do things there.nnDiscipline is done in Eldership in a meeting, with reports from elders, which are not shown to the accused, in a meeting where they are not invited to give their side. This is not accordance with Jesus teaching on the subject.
