Story

We’re a husband and wife team who have created a fun online experience when looking for quality educational toys and gifts. We found a gap in the market for reasonably priced, but high quality, wooden toys.

Therefore, SQUOODLES was created !!!

We’ve been asked how on earth we came up with the name. Squoodles was the nickname we gave our now 7 year old son, Daniel, when he was a baby (he’s our Squoodle Bug) and seemed appropriate when having to choose a name for our business to use this. Our second son Jayden, he’s our ‘wee sausage’ and now 5 years old, and baby Joshua is nearly two years old – nickname varies day to day.

We have a lot of fun sourcing products both from New Zealand and Overseas. We’ve found items just a little bit different that are fun, practical and well priced.

We love wooden products due to their longevity, and being educational, of high quality and competitively priced is a must at Squoodles. We want YOUR children to be able to pass down their toys to THEIR kids, just like we have with ours.

We offer secure online shopping and speedy delivery all around New Zealand and overseas. Our main focus is on providing outstanding Customer Service and having happy, satisfied clients is our priority.
