SPS Security is a Dunedin based security company operating in and around New Zealand. Registered since 2008, SPS is a growing and expanding company which has implemented a wide range of services and programs to be able to provide you with quality personnel for a vast range of security projects. At SPS we partner with you to provide security services to keep your business running.
SPS has taken a unique approach to the business of contract security. Our approach involves a proactive theory of well-groomed, exceptionally trained, uniformed security officers. Our strategy entails several steps to mitigate the possibility and opportunity for theft of property, or injury to persons within the facility. The quality we bring to your environment begins long before you see our security officers. The management team has resolved to make the recruitment and training of our personnel the key to our success.

SPS Security LTD policy is pro-active rather than re-active approach to our hospitality security and we understand the importance of our staff performance on the representation of your venue to your valuable customers. Security companies and all their security staff must now be licensed and qualified under New Zealand law.

Security staff is a necessity in the hospitality industry to uphold the liquor licensing laws regarding the control of patron entry, intoxication levels, age restrictions, venue number limits and patron behaviours.
SPS Security staffs are the first and last staff members that your clients and patrons see and interact with and SPS Security Guards are setting the standards and raising the level of professionalism in hospitality security. Their high levels of public relations and communication skills combined with the necessary physical attributes allow them to deal with any situation quickly, efficiently and discreetly.
By working with the premises we can reduce license infringements, reduce levels of intoxication and alcohol related harm and improve safety in a venue. We work together to create an environment that ensures the ongoing success of a business.

We maintain respected and positive relationships with local authorities including District Licensing Agency, Liquor Licensing Officers, Police, Public Health and other key agencies. We actively participate in local initiatives that impact on you as a client and us as a company, for example working with the Police and the One-Way-Door policy in Dunedin

We conduct regular training seminars to keep our staff up to date with any changes that have an impact on your industry. In addition to these seminars, we have constant evaluation and supervision for all employees, ensuring our high level of service is maintained at all times.
