Plenty of room for drop off of passengers, and plenty of room to board the train
When an arrival is late there should be some electronic indicator to show the amended arrival time. Frustrating when one is on a schedule.
Good time to explore the South island after lock down.
Just a basic train station. Wish it wasn't so far from the city centre.
Scenic tour to Arthur’s Pass, two hours trip didn’t feel that long with amazing view through the big windows. The train also serves hot food on the catering car. Suggest to go check in earlier to avoid the tour crowds.
Serves trains sparingly. Its surprising that a city with a population a few thousand short of Wellington doesn't even have a metropolitan rail network.
Friendly people, reasonably efficient, but limited infrastructure.
Really nice train station!
We did the transapline experience and it was totally memorable and a lovely experience. This is not to be missed!
