Had a great stay over the last two nights! The owners are so welcoming and warm. Gave great recommendations and suggestions on what to do and where to go. All facilities are very clean and well kept. Could not recommend this place more : thank you for having us xx Britt and AmyRooms: 5/5
An awesome park. Small in size but big in service & facilities. Very clean. The owners are so accommodating.. if they can assist re bookings & requests ..they will. We had our caravan there for almost 2 weeks, first time stay but won't be our last. The first park we have been in, since bringing the rig back from Oz ..that comes anywhere near the fantastic ones over there. So convenient to Blenheim & Picton. We had friends stay in one of the cabins ..they also impressed with the facilities. Dave the handyman .. what a great guy and does an excellent job of the grounds . All and all a wonderful park and really enjoyed our stay.
Unable to secure a booking in Picton we chose Spring Creek, and so pleased we did. The owners are so helpful & friendly. Campground is perfect for us with a caravan. Its quiet, with the cleanest amenities. Feeding the eels were a 'hit' with the Grandchildren. Thank you so much. We will be back. Dee & Ian Bell
Returned with family who had stayed previously. Friendly helpful owners. Amenities and room very clean. Kids were a bit disappointed eddy had gone off to hibernate but still a great family friendly place to stay. Recommend. Rooms: Very clean and comfortable
Nice enough camp ground for the price, pool was nice and clean, staff were lovely. The kitchen was old and not well maintained the toaster handle was broken. The showers are old and you have to pay for hot water, which then takes a long time to heat up and you lose half of your time you paid for. It is also very noisy camping next to the main road, got very little sleep. There was also one night where people staying in a caravan had very loud s** on and off for the entire night and it was disturbing. Would not recommend this campsite.
Our group used the beautifully presented cabins and chalet. Very comfortable with all amenities with a gurgling stream and a paddock of sheep as our view it was really ideal. Our hosts were charming too so a top rating from us.
Amazing location to all the vineyards and airport but if you are tent camping it was LOUD!!!! rough night sleep due to being right near the road. The ammenites and kitchen was nice. Showers cost $1nzService: 3/5
Second stay at this handily located camp. Sure Rapaura Road can be busy during day but traffic calms down at night. Facilities & grounds a credit to all involved and staff very friendly, helpful & approachableService: 5/5
Nice camp friendly owners ,just a shame they had so much rain the ground was a bit muddy in places , feed the big eels ,they have some really nice cabins that over look the creek , ,all very clean and tidy ,will come back in the warmer monthsRooms: 5/5
Not sure what you are actually paying for here, it's definitely not for sleep. $45 for unpowered site doesn't include showers or wifi, they are extra. Right on the main road, and the trucks do not stop all night! Wedged between permanent residents and they are not considerate of their neighbours and don't quieten after 10pm, no matter how many signs you put around the campground on a small patch of grass. This is in my top 2 worst campgrounds in our 3 months touring NZ, Gore is still the worst.
