Well presented layout and a tidy bar, great customer service and the outside area is a must visit for a relaxed environment for few friends or a businesses dinner.
Great service, great drinks, easy korero, and you don't have to listen to someone else's playlist. It's like a traditional English neighbourhood pub, with kiwi characteristics.

What a friendly little bar! Tuesday is quiz night and we were well entertained by Quiz Master Jim. The iced coffee with lashings of whipped cream was amazing!
Recently refurbished, looking good but somewhat sterile. Could do with some colour, maybe art/pictures on the walls. A great wee local pub, Good beer and pub food. Plenty of room outs too.
Wide variety of S&F beers with a good wine selection. Food available also. They often have live music. Great friendly bar.
Great atmosphere, friendly and happened to call in on a Wednesday so enjoyed live music till 10pm. For anyone who enjoys music and great beer make this a must do on Wednesday evenings.
Dropped in for a coupla pints and refill of my plastic 2L rugger, as they call them in Nelson. Great craft beers, friendly down to earth staff and 1.5km from home. Hard to beat.
