Sport Waitakere is a local delivery arm for Sport NZ initiatives; we are “owned” locally by our community and provide an independent regional voice for community sport and recreation. We aim to increase participation and act to strengthen the infrastructure for sport and recreation.

Great ground. Awesome Secondary Schools Rugby Final. Good ground to play on. AND the volunteers were very good handling the huge crowd that turned up and had the ground bursting at the seams. Thank goodness I was fortunate enough to be given a pass into the stand. The bank on the other side was slippery after recent rain and these old legs would not have handled it.
Went to the 2023.1st xv rugby final and weather was terrible but the field and place for supporters to stand was like mudslides. People slipping and getting dirty. My first time there but would only go if my kids are playing there but not by choice.
Great place for a private party
Had the Melanesian festival, entertainment was good, Fijian food sold there was totally disgusting and costly
Nice open space, can spectate rugby games, or take a walk or just simply sit and enjoy nature. Haven't been out in a while, and once I went out here, it was really refreshing. But I was unsure where the toilet was lol
Great family club. Just the place to hold tournaments. 2 supporting pitches and a decent main pitch and stand. Reasonable clubhouse and parking as well as transport access.
I haven't been here for years. Was playing in the old 'NOLA' Rugby Team. 1990? Be good to get some old photo's etc .
Good club both boys played for Waitemata
is great for the local kids to have a good place to hang safely... but once/twice a year it's an awful queue of ppl picking up the young folk from school social.
A good reliable rugby club my children and grandchildren play here for touch and ripper rugby. Parking can be hectic on the sports day's. Supportive parents for the children and the clubrooms.
