Called the night before to check that diving boards and hydro slides were open for the next day. We were told yes both open at 10am.nArrive the next day with the kids to find that most pools were closed for maintenance and no diving board. Only learners pool and slides open. Weren't offered any discount for only having half of the facilities available.nVery disappointing, had we been told the night before that pools were going through maintenance we wouldn't have bothered going.
Awesome aquatic centre in Invercargill. Best to buy a family pass, if going with the family. There is a warm splash/wave pool, swimming lanes, diving boards, spa, sauna and Hydro-slides. There is a cafe on site as well, but it may have different operating hours
A multifunctional swimming pool, I love they have everything: sauna, cold pool…nBut when I arrived they have split the lanes, make it 25m. When it approach close time, they make it back to 50m, anyway I’m glad that I did swimming in 50m lane. And I like their lanes have variety water depth: 1m-3m-5m.
Very disappointed!! Came to swim at 1.45pm and was told to return after 6pm due to a swim meet occupying all lanes. When I returned I was told by staff that they had decided not to reopen lap pool until after 2pm tomorrow. We are travelling and had decided to wait around based on the information that was given, and listed on Web page. This is extremely poor form.
Great place for a swim. The main pool was booked out when I went so could only use the leisure/wave pool. Has sauna, hot swirl pool and ice bath.
