Great value dishes, excellent service by friendly staffs. Today we ordered Salmon and Steak, chef cooked them well. Mulled wine is good.nLast time we ordered Ribs where I feel it was not marinated well enough. Lamb shank was very nice.
Definitely one of the better hotel restaurants; however, we felt our meals were lacking any special touch and the flavors were just alright. I got the chicken curry while my husband got a pizza flatbread. The portions were generous, which we definitely appreciate after hiking in the park. I also really enjoyed my flat white from their volcanic espresso. We walked in shortly before 7pm on a Tuesday and got seated immediately. However, every table was occupied by the time we left.
Went in on a busy night to eat, we were told it'd be at least an hour wait time so we opted to order our food as take out instead. We got told it would be half an hour. We ordered, went home and waited. And waited. And waited. An hour later we call them to check on our order's progress and got told its ready and waiting. When we got our food it was cold, like it had been standing there for quite a while. They must have forgotten to call us to notify us our food is ready.nnWhen it came to the quality of food: gobsmacked. We paid over $100 for 4 adults and one child meal and got something you could have picked up from a stale petrol station food cabinet. The two meat lovers pizzas we dry, the filling was in the centre of the pizza only, overwhelmingly tasted of anchovies and of course cold. The child's burger meal was also cold, the lettuce slimy and limp. The noodle salad which charged $6 extra for chicken was underwhelming, and way overpriced. The only remotely tasty meal was the lamb shank albeit cold too. The seasonal veges and mash tasted and looked like something out of a frozen meal from the supermarket sadly.nnAll in all: very disappointed and will not be going back. I hope this place was this bad due to the fact they were busy and that this is not their normal standard of service.
Great fast service, nice food and awesome atmosphere. Lightning made it more intimate which is what you want. Thanks to the one man chef or if there there was a few more behind the scenes. Food was falling off the bone on the ribs and steak was perfect rare.
We had such a great experience here. The ambiance is perfect, our table can see snow mountain on top. The food is a pleasure, not very special but just yummy. We came at a very busy dinner time, but the service is prompt and friendly.
