Have been ordering food at home for sometime but going there to eat was a great experience. Good service friendly staff. Lots of Vegan and vegetarian options.

Lamb shank was tasty but Goan fish curry was a very bland and flavourless sauce despite asking for a "madras heat". A bit disappointing given the price. Service was very good.Food: 3/5
I came here with friends on Saturday. The service was good, the staff were friendly and accommodating, they were nice to my friend's 1-year-old and offered him a lollipop. He wasn't allowed it, but it was a kind gesture. The food was delicious. I ordered a lamb dish with stuffed naan from the menu. It was sizzling and not too oily. The price was fair too. Give this place a try.
Wow is all I can say, my husband and I ate here tonight. Food amazing, the staff could not be more helpful and sooooooo friendly and welcoming. We will be coming back lots, cannot recommend this place enough. Such a chilled and friendly atmosphere the team here have got this nailed.Food: 5/5
Absolutely terrible restaurant in my opinion. The food we were served was no where near the quality I would have expected from any restaurant let alone a restaurant that makes claims to be one of the best. Runny and watered down curry that looked like a plate of slop! Refused to eat the food, and left! Will defiantly not return! The restaurant used to be good and offer a much better dining experience, but unfortunately this does not seem to be the current standard of the food offered. What a shame!
Update May 2023 Review: We previously visited when it was taken over and thought it wasn't very good and stopped coming here. However, pleased to say it's back to being pretty decent. Inside has been modernised so it's somewhere you could take your family, whereas some Indians can be a bit dingy. Pleasant atmosphere now. Biryani is now my go to choice dish and this was a very good one - there are better in Basingstoke Chennai, Elai but it's close, very close a good judge is the veg they mix in - here it was cauliflower etc with roasted red onion ontop - a good sign. This is more a traditional curry house than those, and the food/service is good. If it's a case of recommending 100% - it deserves to be busier than it is. Still waiting to try the buffet at the weekend! Original 2021 Review: Ordered a few times after having always walked past it and wanting to try it. Biriyani and Korma have both been excellent, especially the korma, which I do think is the best I've ever had. The food tastes incredibly fresh, the meat is clearly slow cooked to a high standard which is good, not microwaved! and delivery has always been quick to Brighton Hill area. We are looking forward to being able to eat in instead of getting takeout when things open back up.

Friendly and Attentive staff .. Food was excellent with a wonderful selection of street food .. overall a most pleasurable experience.. Would definitely return.
