The food here is simply amazing. Every bite felt like comfort wrapped in spice, and honestly, it was the best treat for our tummy. We enjoyed it so much that we even finished all the chutney — not a drop left behind, which says everything.nnThe place itself is nice, lively, and always buzzing with people, a clear sign of how loved it is. Just a small tip: keep some time in hand, as it can get busy and there may be a wait to be seated.nnSpice Village, Hanmer Springs — honestly, this has to be the best Indian food we’ve had in all of New Zealand so far! Even better than many Indian restaurants in India.
What a great restaurant! Food was super tasteful and reasonable priced. We paid 80 NZD for 2 mains and 3 Naans. We were more than full. Great service as well and great stuff. Definitely recommend!!!
The food was so impressive!! Got here just before the rush, the manager and wait staff were so lovely. Beautiful restaurant set up and very clean. Dietary options available, I cannot eat rice - but they made a really tasty garlic cauliflower rice fore me. Highly recommend
Loved the flavours of all the dishes we ordered. The food was urry sauces were rich and creamy, made perfectly to our preferred spice level and paired nicely with the very delicious, freshly made, naan bread. The service was very attentive and friendly especially with the number of patrons they had. Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.
The food here was absolutely incredible! I got the chicken biriyani and the flavours were insane! It was so delicious and not at all dry! I have tried many biryanis this one topped them all the serving size was perfect and the cucumber mint mocktail was phenomenal! Such a good atmosphere and vibe in the place too with very friendly staff! My only complaint is the food took quite a while to arrive to our table we were waiting upwards of 40 minutes but it was very busy and the food was worth the wait! Would definitely come again
