After having major delays with our move to Christchurch from Auckland, we was starving by the time we arrived to our new home. We had a Quick Look on google & noticed that there was an Indian round the corner to us with really good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. I accidentally submitted my order too soon without realising & called to ask if we could have it a bit later which they done for us straight away, the man on the phone was really friendly & helpful.nThe food was outstanding, the best indian we have had in a long time! Also not greasy & really good portions! We will be regulars for sure, so happy we have such a good, reasonably priced local Indian!
Just dined in for dinner! Host is a great guy, gave us excellent recommendations, and checked in on us multiple times. We ordered a little too much for 2 people but enjoyed every bite. All the meat was so tender, juicy and piping hot. Onion bhaji they were huge and mango lassi were terrific. And free poppadoms hehe. Will gladly be back for more :
This is by far the best Indian we have had. We have been going here for a wee while and the food is consistently good. The kids absolutely love the butter chicken and the Mango Lassi- super kid friendly! When we ask the kids where they want to go for dinner this is always their first choice even over maccas. This is great as we love the food too. We have tried many of the curry’s on the menu and every one has been delicious. We loooooove the lamb Biryani, it is absolutely divine. Brilliant service too, super friendly and lovely. Highly recommend!
Came in at lunch for a curry and it delicious. Great friendly service, food came out quickly and was exceptional. If I am in town again I shall be back for more!
Ordered take out for out first time last night from Spice N Light & it was absolutely delicious! The best curry I've tasted in a very long time. Don't know why it's taken us so long to order from them. I highly recommend their Lamb Madras and their Butter Chicken. Will definitely be ordering from them again very very soon
