Great Indian Restaurant at such a convenient place from the motorway. Lamb balti is a hidden gem here. Do try. Great customer service as well.
I bypassed Wellsford due to the festive holiday traffic queues. This place had ample parking well off the road and good access back onto the road. I ordered a medium spicy butter paneer with a tandoori roti and a lassi it was a hot day. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The meal was the best I'd tasted since I was last in India! An absolutely smooth and creamy blend of taste and texture yet with the kick that I enjoy from spicy Indian food. The roti was quartered and it was the size of a brake rotor. The smooth lassi kept me cool too - I bought two in the end. First class! I'll be back!
We stopped here for dinner after a day in the Bay of Islands. We ordered the palak paneer and aloo matar. The meal came with rice and I ordered garlic naan to go with it. Both dishes were prepared with medium spice and were perfect! The meal really big the spot after a day of adventure.
Possibly the best food available for a long way. Certainly the best Indian food in northland that I've tried. Value for money.Food: 5/5

Unexpected touch of class & huge portions - the starter filled me up and I still had the main to go! The sauces were lusciously thick and not watery like elsewhere. We always stop here for dinner on our way north now!
Favorite place for the best curry! Lovely staff who look after you and take care. Curry is too good! Highly reccomend
This guys are great but 2nd time i come and they are closed or done for the day at 1pm?
I ordered the butter chicken but it was so sweet!! It tasted more like a spicy bowl of brown sugar. It was so sweet I couldn't eat it. $64 down the drain.
