Absolutely incredible experience! You can truly taste the love and authenticity in their food—the homemade spice blends make a massive difference, giving every dish a rich, layered flavor you just don't get at standard restaurants. Beyond the amazing food, the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. Highly recommend!
Had dinner yesterday and I can honestly say it was the best Butter Chicken I've had in Auckland so far.nnThe chicken was incredibly tender, the sauce was rich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavour without being overly sweet. Every bite was delicious and perfectly balanced. The portion size was generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming.nnIf you're a Butter Chicken lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be coming back to try more dishes from the menu.nnHighly recommended!
What an amazing restaurant ! The food was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of authentic, fresh meals to choose from which the chefs prepared on the spot.... servings were generously abundant with honest pricing . The service was impeccable and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We were even give free desserts as it was Mother's Day . Will definitely be back. Came to Spice Avenue for dinner with my family and it was an amazing experience! Neeraj and the chef provided outstanding service and incredible attention to detail. They took care of us so well and made the whole evening feel very welcoming. The food was excellent! All of the curries, naan breads, and rice were absolutely delicious.nWe’ll definitely be coming back!
We had take aways and my wife collected it so I can't comment on service or atmosphere.nWe'd read the reviews and seen the 4.9 star rating so had high hopes going in. We ordered butter chicken, chicken korma and a plain naan. The naan was brilliant, huge, fluffy and delicious, the butter chicken was pretty good but the korma was disappointing. Its like the flavouring spices had been forgotten, it was more like a bechamel sauce rather than a curry, very pale, just creamy, no real flavour. Hopefully we were just unlucky today, I'll go back again for the naan and maybe try the tikka masala next time.nPhoto below - it comes with more chicken, half of it was spooned out before I took the photo.
