Had the steamed mussels for lunch today. Unfortunately none of the beards were removed! so little bit of straggle here. On top of that i wasn't given any extra dish for the empty shells....Had to place them on the table.....
it has beautiful view of Browns bay face to Rangitoto island. Highly recommend to try lunch special which is only $20 includes a pint of bear and good size lunch dishes. Tasty foods and kind staffs.

A proper pub with a great atmosphere especially if you are a sports fan. As the name would suggest, it is right on the corner across the road from Browns Bay Beach, so stunning views guaranteed.

Awesome setting with friendly attentive staff. Great selection of beers with Speckled Hen being an absolute bonus. Best value for money with a true pint not your 40mils being the order of the day. Will be back.
