I recently adopted a kitten from Tga SPCA and I'd like to thank all the staff involved in making it happen. They are all caring ,friendly and helpful people doing a great job re-homing animals in their care . The process was faultless and I highly recommended them .
We had a very good experience adopting a dog from SPCA Tauranga. We were able to meet multiple dogs on the day and also to come back again on the same day after going away to think over which dog would suit our family. The staff were lovely.
It was an experience, but I was not at all pleased with the outcome. It felt like the process was rushed at the start, then at the end I was just left to myself.. I also attempted to make a quick conversation with staff, at the start and during the viewing, but they all treated me as if I was just some school student or a clueless teenager. Very aggravating.nnI was also not told or made aware of some criteria that needs to be met in order to proceed the adoption after emailing back and forth... Because of these criteria not being met, and also being told that the animal in viewing has already an accepted application, this hugely wasted my time. If I was told these at the start, I would have just immediately declined the service of this center and have the rest of my day off.nnI do wish the animal well that I got introduced to, hopefully it meets a good match. It was the highlight of my dreary experience.
Tauranga SPCA have generously gifted vouchers to de-sex 2 cats at Koru Vets. I remain very grateful to them for their help. Much appreciated.
Went to find out if my sister could get her cat fixed. They were very helpful she got it done for free.nnThey had some beautiful puppies there looking for a new home
