These guys are fantastic at selling stuff - 5 stars! Just super-rubbish at after-sales support. Accessory got sent away for 2 weeks only to be returned, un-fixed, because the store failed to send the correct paperwork. To add insult to injury: when I later returned one and a half weeks later to have the accessory re-booked in, the manager hadn't bothered sorting out the correct paperwork - just wasting more time. Honestly, try Cuba street or Queensgate, they wouldn't have to try that hard to be better than these guys.
There is a great coffee shop, and it makes work meetings so convenient. The gentleman who runs the store with the Lotto, great guy, is so friendly and helpful.
Just visited the store today. I was appalled at the poor customer service and lack of interest from the staff. The store was not busy either. Instead of attending to customers one of the staff saw the some friends come into the store and they were shooting the breeze and ignoring customers, pretty appalling. I was interested in a new phone but left.
Woke up etc and discovered that my slightly ageing Spark Modem had died overnight so went into Willis Street thinking to buy a new one. The very friendly Lyndon tried to talk me out of buying a new one, "as the older one might still be under guarantee". But then i would need to go home, call Spark not always a good thing to do, get a multi-digit number, come back into town with said number, drive around for 20 mins lookng for a park, paying for park, walking 1km to Spark, presenting number, getting new modem, spending $15 at Spark Mojo next door etc. Or I could buy a new one, to which the very friendly Lyndon said '"are you sure?" and I said "for a hundred bucks, yes". Plus I get Wifi 6. Plus Lyndon made it all very easy. Came home and in 10 mins it was set up and working. Time is money and in this case it all worked out well. Good job Lyndon. Good service and you sold me a modem, so the boss should also be happy.
Please don’t be so condescending next time : such a stressful experience and received the wrong instructions about setting up a new modem, so had to go through the whole thing a second time. Ended up giving up and going to the porirua store - so helpful there!
Great architecture I like the design of the building
I had a very bad experience there as talking to one of the workers there tried to over power me as well as telling me that when you put money in sparks app account you are unable to get it back. So watch out everyone just incase you want to leave and have money left over you are not able to get a credit
My wife was treated appallingly in your store today. The staff member she spoke to was unable to resolve a technical problem and refused to put her onto a senior technician when requested. We have spent several hours on the issue both with internet service provider and equipment supplier. We are convinced the problem lies with Spark.
Similar to others. Found customer service terrible. Was told to go home and order online.it would be easier for them. I'm sorry but I thought they wanted to sell phones. Useless
An analogy: You dined out in a restaurant and wanted a large ice cream for desert. The staff told you they don’t serve large size but only small size ice cream. You therefore, chose a strawberry RED one. But then you saw on the menu there is large chocolate BLACK ice cream. You then checked with the staff to switch to the large chocolate ice cream. The staff confirmed that the order for the strawberry one will be canceled and they will bring you the large chocolate - great. Soon, you were enjoying your chocolate ice cream, but later you were brought another dish. It is covered and you don’t know what it is. You called for service but no one came, so you decided to bring it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, you dropped the plate on the way and it is all your fault. But after explaining to the staff, you were told no need to worry as you didn’t order that. The kitchen made a mistake and you shouldn’t be responsible for that. A relief, and you appreciated it. After the meal, you picked the bill - it has the strawberry ice cream there which you didn’t order or eat. After checking with the counter, you were told you that you only need to pay for the chocolate one - makes good sense. However, a month later, you received a bill and asked you to pay for the STRAWBERRY ice cream! You figured it was a mistake and went back to the restaurant to confirm. Good news, you were told they sent the bill by mistake and you can just ignore it. Another month passed, you got this bill again asking money for the STRAWBERRY ice cream. There is no way you can get hold to this restaurant other than revisiting them and taking long queue to talk to the staff in person. BUT this time, you were told because you dropped the plate, you have to pay for it. You argued that you didn’t order it, you don’t know what was it, and you were told three times earlier that you don’t need to pay and it was the restaurant’s mistake. BUT no, they now say you ordered a STRAWBERRY one and doesn’t matter you changed your mind later and was confirmed the STRAWBERRY one was canceled, the fact they put it on your table and you dropped it, you have no choice but pay for it in full. WHAT A PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE and GREAT EXPERIENCE YOU HAD AT THIS PLACE.
