At Space for you and your baby, new parents & their babies meet weekly to consider different perspectives on parenting & child development, explore music, rhymes, books & a variety of play experiences in a safe, facilitated environment

Story

We believe every new parent can be vulnerable & in need of support as they transition to parenthood. We are committed to ensuring that universally available & responsive post-natal support is an integral part of having a baby in New Zealand.

Space for you and your baby is offered around New Zealand. New parents & their babies meet weekly giving them the opportunity to make real connections during their baby’s first year.

Parents consider different perspectives about parenting & child development, explore music, rhymes, books & a variety of play experiences in a safe, facilitated environment.

The unique dual curriculum offers something to both the parent & the baby, while its universal approach serves all new parents regardless of background & culture.

Space NZ Trust works collaboratively with a diverse range of national & local organisations throughout New Zealand to deliver Space for you and your baby.
