What a lovely place to spend an hr or 3 depending of your love of cars. So much kiwi history and stories tied up with some of these beautiful cars. Would love to come back for a concert. Lots of parking and a,wee coffee gift shop. Lovely staff too
Huge collection of cars from all around the world and across time. From Japanese legends of the 90s to the futuristic vision of the Swinging 20s. Also includes a collection of motorcycles and bikes. Each display has an accompanying plaque that gives info on the history and facts of the car model, and/or the history of the particular one on display. Could spend all day reading if I wanted to! Entry $21 for an adult.
Best museum of vintage cars, motorcycles, boats, and Aircrafts. We enjoyed the place very well. We went through the history of vehicles. Every item is described very well on their description boards. If there are minors, it will be a good experience for them. And there is a waiting lounge, toilet, and cafes with snacks and coffee. And wide parking space. And there is an entry fee. For the family, they charged 47$. Recommended place.
Wow, what an amazing collection. Loved our time here. You don't have to be a car nut to enjoy this amazing collection. We cannot recommend this highly enough.

We spent hours at the museum. Great range of cars and bikes. Very interesting and worth a visit

It's a classy car museum in immaculate grounds. There are lots of American cars, boy, you forget just how big some of those oldtimers were, but a decent sprinkling of European models too as well as motorcycles and bicycles. The microcar selection was impressive but I have to say that the barn-find was my favourite, which just goes to show that you don't need to restore everything.
