My wife and I were looking for someone who could provide unfinished timber suitable for a mantel that we could stain to blend with our existing wood work. Southern Woodcraft & Design helped us select an appropriate timber and corbels. The timber and corbels were exactly what we were hoping to find. They really helped us achieve what we were aiming for. Very impressed with the care taken to protect the items during shipping. Delivery received as promised. They were just great to work with. Recommend them highly.
I have used Southern Woodcraft for several timber frame projects, including a large timber pavilion. They provided me with a full kit, making my job much easier! The kit had all of the parts pre-drilled and labeled, as well as instructions, drawings and assembly hardware. They are also easy to get a hold of with any questions! Great product and Great Service. I worked with Mike and Dana to design and engineer a pavilion for St Stephens Episcopal church. The pavilion was around 1000 sq. ft. in size and was intended to provide an outside space for events and fellowship. Throughout the entire project their communication was timely and proactive. The attention to detail was outstanding. As a result of the fine craftmanship that goes into everything they do, the finished product exceeded our expectations.

I work for a local building supply in Greenville, NC. I have been lucky to find Southern Woodcraft & Design. Dana has been very helpful with special cedar products. Their products look GREAT!!! They have always been reliable and friendly to work with. I have been dealing with them for over 5 years and have nothing bad to say. I can not stress enough that their cedar products look 100 times better than the junk you find on-line. They will design just about anything you need.
