The SCCA regulates cricket in the South Canterbury area and is affiliated to the Canterbury Cricket Association (New Zealand).
SC Cricket administrates all facets of cricket in a region stretching from the Rangitata river to the Waitaki river in Senior, Second (2 sections), Presidents and Fourth grades, as well as a strong womens competition and JAB sections. Cricket has been played in Timaru and South Canterbury since about 1861 and the SCCA looks after everything from its offices in the Graeme Blanchard Centre at Aorangi Park, Timaru, where the full time staff are situated.
