Awesome customer service. We visited the store on Sunday after lunch as we were all craving for biltong. We purchased traditional, chutney, chilli ones. They were so delicious. Store is clean and well maintained.
Pleasant experience with Bok shop, all ingredients and items purchased were good. Good communication regarding my parcel delays and they also included a nice apology item! Will definitely be ordering from them again, lekker biltong
Food expired or stale, meat in the fridges were warm. Enquired about an item that was out of stock, they took my number and never received a call back from them. Wanted to share some south african food with a local and all the products I bought was all off. Didn't want to believe all the south africans that said they don't buy anything there for this exact reason. This store is giving our country a bad name.
Their meat and biltong is the best by far! The owners are super awesome, with great customer service. Well done guys!!!
Honestly the best selection of dried and cured meats I have ever come across, the hangover mix is amazing!!
I almost don't want to let the secret out, but this is my favourite biltong of all time. Whenever I am in New Plymouth it's my first stop, and they're amazing at shipping it too! You can't go wrong with the Bok shop!

Most expensive SA shop Iv been to in NZ, everything is over priced, like $16.50 for 80 pack rooibos when you can get it under $10 from 3 other places.....rip off
We love the biltong, perfect for kids snacks, also a good source of iron.
The owners go above and beyond to keep the customer happy. Excellent friendly service, hands down the best biltong i have tasted in New Zealand. Definitely won me over will continue to purchase items, pity I live so far otherwise i would pop in every week! Keen to order some vienna,russians and fresh boerewors next.
