Story

HOW TO ORDER:
- Simply text or call us on 0226491439 for a pick up. You can book in advanced, make a regular route (to and from work, etc.) or just call when you want a pick up! Our wait time is usually 10minutes for ASAP rides.

- Once you have contacted Sophies Angles, provide us with you start and end address and we will quote you an exact price for your ride.

- You can either pay in advanced via internet banking (just send us a confirmation of payment) or you can pay in cash in person (we are currently working on eftpos and APP payments).


PRICES:
- Text us for a quote on your ride

- We are proud to say that you pay for your distance NOT time, so even if we are stuck in traffic you will always be paid the quoted amount.

- We also DO NOT have any surcharges during busy/ peak periods, so we can guarantee a cheap ride home during these times compared to our competitors

BACKGROUND:
- Sophie has worked in the passenger transport industry for the past two years in Wellington and Christchurch. From her personal experience and passenger feedback, she identified that women were automatically more at ease when receiving a female driver when they called a taxi due to the fact that they have had bad experiences with male drivers. From this, she realized that there was a need to develop an alternative transport option for women.

- As an Uber driver so was frequently harassed my male passengers and heard stories from females passengers that had not felt safe in the cars that were driving them home

- Sophie also found that women were being denied rides home due to them being to intoxicated or the ride being too short which lead them to walk home at a dangerous time of night

- To meet these needs Sophie created Sophies Angels and safety is our main priority
