Story

55 Years after John Pay founded Sono Sound Systems as a home business, his two sons Robert and David now continue to expand the business. Thanks to John's efforts, the company has built a strong client base and is now Southland's premier Sound and AV company.

Sono Sound Systems are involved in many regular events, conferences, concerts and shows in Invercargill and Southland - you name it, Sono Sound Systems will do it! We are able to provide; sound systems, projectors and screens, video cameras, video switching equipment, lighting, laptops, AC distro and the list goes on...

We can handle events from 1 person to 15,000 people, so no matter what size your event, don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. This is a business you have to be passionate about - when the public take their leave, there is still work to be done - and Robert and David and their team work very long irregular hours to ensure every event they work with, is a success.

Sono Sound Systems know what good sound and lighting is all about. Just a few of the events they have experience with include; The Burt Munro Challenge Racing and entertainment sites, Super 15 Rugby, Speedway Racing, local and regional conferences for businesses and clubs, School music festivals and theatre productions, weddings and funerals, international Acts and many music concerts and events in Invercargill and the greater Southland region.
