Sona Sansaar the best jewellery store in NZ. Their service is absolutely amazing. All the staff are very friendly. Harish and Jyoti are amazing human being,always helpful in giving advice. I still remember they help me with my mangalsutra it turn out amazingly beautiful. I always go to Sona Sansaar for repairs and buying jewellery. They don’t rip anyone that’s for sure. Thank you Harish and Jyoti for everything you’ve done for me and you both such a blessing in our community. You both deserve 5* plus
Bought a Titan watch one week back and it was a birthday gift for one of my best mates. I made sure with the staff that it’s working. I couldn’t check myself as they have packed it and gave to me. The week after I received a call from my mate and he told the watch I gifted is not working. I felt so embarrassed. I came back with the faulty one to the shop and spent more than one hour to sort out the watch, looks like they are selling faulty products. I don’t recommend this shop for buying any watches.
The team at Sona Sansaar are extremely professional and it was quick and easy to design an engagement ring that I loved and was priced well. The ring was custom-designed and arrived extremely quickly

Heed Caution! Came here twice. First time I got a fair deal from a good associate but the second time I worked with the owners wife, Joti. From the start she was condescending, had a poor and immature attitude with business ethics and bullied her other associates + attempted to do so with me.nWhat Joti didn’t know was that I am a seasoned gold buyer having lived and bought from Dubai, Qatar and India for years and know the business well. So when I started the process of obtaining a fair price she immediately lost all her professional ethics and built a wall against negotiating a price that we both knew was not fair. I came prepared knowing the gold rates from NZ, a adequate comprehension on local polices/laws in NZ, and of course experience to which she felt the need to condescendingly lecture me and start beating her chest at me to find any way to make me believe that the price was “fair”… it absolutely wasn’t … so she finally went to the back to consult with the real owner and not even a minute later she came back looking deflated and defeated having to admit that the price I suggested was fair and accepted by the owner himself. Then after coming to terms with a price and her millions of purposely confusing calculations I noticed that she had switched out the original piece to something smaller!! And then she tried to state that she had miscalculated and we were going to have to start the process over again. It was absolutely unreal, shady, manipulative and unprofessional that she did that and after calling her out she realized she was caught she disappeared and another associate came to finish the transaction on the correct price we had agreed on. Take heed from merchants like these that pose themselves as “all knowing” it’s a manipulation tactic and be ready to walk away if you know or feel you’re being hustled… I’m definitely expecting a response from the owners not going to reply though! so viewers can decide if this place is truly accountable for their mistakes and shows honesty towards their customers. Otherwise: PASS.
