Great place, really nice hosts
Here is one of the best BBH of my life. The owner and staffs are nice people. I recommend you to stay here 3 nights or more over because there are many places where you should see something in Golden bay.
Me and my friends' family had great time spending Christmas at Somerset house with Hiromi the owner and her family. The rooms were comfortable and all facilities were sparkling clean. We were even treated with delicious Xmas deserts made by Hiromi.
I used to work in here, too. It was a trade something like work for accommodation and food. I had a really good memorize in here with some Japanese friend and a Kiwi guy with his lovely dog.

Brilliant place and lovely folks can't recommend ìt highly enough
Their tableware was lacking in sanitation. Because tableware wasn't dried naturally. On top of that, the plate, knives, and cutting board... all of them were wiped the same towel.
My friend and I stayed one night there. It very quiet and clean place, no matter bethroom, bed and kitch. There only has 4 rooms, but all guest share 3 bethroom. we could see beautiful bay from the room we stayed.
