This was our first visit. Very yummy place with a nice skinny margarita. It was made with lime juice instead of fresh lime but overall pretty tasty. The barstools were a bit short for the bar, which gave a sort of kiddie table vibe. The tacos were pretty good and both food and drink rather inexpensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As an added plus, they keep late hours on the weekends, which is rare in this region of metro Atlanta. We will most certainly be back!
I’ve been coming to this place for about 5 years and always been good service and food quality. The drinks are always good and very good staff and very friendly. Even the owner is very nice and professional while having real conversations with her customers getting to know them on name basis. This is my go to spot for anything and I always been treated well and always have fun. Definitely check this place out.
I really like the food.... service was okay at best... Story time- older couple in there eating ....one of them drop their cane on the floor, the waitress and one other employee walked over that cane ....full on intentionally stepped over the cane..... three times and did not pick it up for them, I walked over and picked up the cane. I asked the gentleman if the cane was his or his "daughters" they were tickled pink..... Small acts of kindness will go further than you understand. And now you get a review about the service instead of the great food.
23 July 2022 In short - the food here is excellent! I really liked the "chunky guacamole". I asked our server for a side of guacamole to have with our chips and salsa. She asked "smooth or chunky?". Never been asked that question before for a side of guac. Figured I'd try chunky. Glad I did! Chunks of avocado and tomato , with just the right amount of cilantro and citrus . this would make an awesome vegetarian meal unto itself... It's a big scoop of quac! And this was just the beginning. The rest of the meal was excellent as well. Steak Fajitas and Sombrero Burrito . See my pics. Comida muy deliciosa! and pics of the full menu / prices too!
Its a whole vibe from entertainment, food, drinks, and the service was decent but we believe she was just having a day so not counting that against her. So overall great place if you want tacos and tequila
Found this place about 8 years ago and would prefer ot over any Mexican restaurant. I would just pull up for what's in the picture here. I was there on Saturday and I will say that the margarita tasted like margarita and not the Patron margarita that I ordered. I informed a server and he suggested another shot. That I had the pleasure of paying for So I guess that they short the drinks now during inflation. Cool staff, but I'll rather buy a bottle of Patron and make my own drank at home next time. Parking: There are multiple businesses in this plaza so it'll look like there's no parking, but there is usually parking.
It's hard to find a good good Mexican spot. But I lucked up and found Sombrero one day passing by. Their food is delicious and the drinks be on point. A lil crowded on weekends but still worth it. They never disappoints when I come. Very pleasant atmosphere and the staff is so on point and knowledgeable of everyone that walks thru the door. Keep up the good work
Came here for dinner and it was fairly busy. The atmosphere was nice and everyone looked happy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I had the shrimp taco salad and it was tasty. Also ordered a Hennessy mango margarita on the rocks, which was extremely sweet and tasted a little watered down. It was like drinking mango flavored, sugar water. Like diabetes in a glass served over ice. I would stick to beer only here and stay away from mixed drinks. Our server was nice, but not very attentive to the table and we relied on the kindness of a nearby server to help with what we needed... Like silverware and an itemized final check. For service, it will be a hit or miss, but most of the staff was working hard. Even if your server disappears, there are plenty of people around to keep things running smoothly. Three stars because the food and atmosphere were good, drinks and service left much to be desired.
This place is ussin as the kids say. My food was great and even the refried beans tasted good. Definitely worth the visit. Furthermore the jalapeño cheese dip was ussin as well. NO CAP.
The food was very good, however calling in an order is a pain! The lady answering the phone kept placing us on hold and then stated she was was very busy. How does you being busy concern me? I’m calling in to GIVE you business. Horrible customer service because we the consumers are paying YOU for a service, not the other way around. As rough as the pandemic has been on business, you should be thankful we are still coming there! So as we began to place our order, she then had the audacity to rush us and kept saying “Is that it”? Needless to say I will not return there again. There are PLENTY of other Tex-Amex restaurants around who have much better customer service and the food is great.
