Story

Social Socks is a programme developed by trained counsellors to help children who struggle socially and emotionally. The programme is delivered by trained staff using puppets, workbooks and hands-on activities. Social Socks Programmes are taught to junior school children, and each Programme works with a whole class of children for an hour a week over 7 weeks.
At the moment, Social Socks is working with schools in the Palmerston North areas, and developing a training programme to bring this valuable resource to children throughout our region and beyond.
