Story

We sell all the accessories you need for your day on the mountain: gloves, hats, socks, neakwarmers, goggles, helmets, thermal underwear, wax, skis /snow boards for all ages and abilities.
A family can have heaps of fun on a toboggan even. You can hire snow boots/goggles/gloves/jackets and pants for an inexpensive day on the mountain.
We can repair/sharpen/wax and fine tune all makes of skis and snowboards.
We retail popular brands of skis and snowboards bindings and ski boots.

A charming shop with super helpful staff, easily accessible from Turangi. Hire includes goggles and clothing if desired. Late hours are convenient. Plus they were kind enough to offer a refund on early return. I'll be coming back next time I'm heading to Whakapapa.

Excellent personal service, and reasonably priced gear to rent or buy. This is the best place to purchase or rent your gear before you head up the mountain. Get fitted and then phone ahead to be able to collect the gear quickly on the way. Perfect!
Great team, kept our order on file picked up everything we needed in 15mins and then went the extra mile to sort a carpark pass for us on a the second day of the weekend we didnt have. highly recommend the team at snow scene!
