Pretty disappointed in the service I experienced tonight. When I entered the store, around 6.30pm there was no one else waiting - I took a seat as per the sign that said if there is no one attending the front desk please take a seat. I sat and waited patiently for over 30 minutes, while waiting the waiting room started to get busier. Finally after a discussion between others waiting, someone came out and greeted us. I expected to see clients leaving as we were waiting and could hear lots of laughing and chatting however to my surprise there was 3+ staff at the back and no other clients. I then got a wax treatment, which was fine but when I went to pay I got charged $75 dollars - she said this was because my hair was long. I disputed this and then she charged me 60, and said this was the price for clients who have returned to the service as I have used sisters before and my hair was not that long. Upon coming home and checking the prices myself I have seen she has in fact charged me $10 over. Unacceptable, and disappointed about a place I have previously loved. I will be sure to tell my friends and family about the poor service and over charging clients for services.Service: Waxing

I had the most amazing experience at this place. I got a full body massage. First I was afraid because I'm not a fan of massages, but here it was perfect. They are very nice, professional and just so good in what they do. I feel much better and can't wait to go there again.

Went to sisters beauty in centre place today. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. I got a eyebrow wax and tint. She missed so many hairs but also took so much off the top. No care and effort put into it. My hair is blonde so I specifically asked for light brown tint. She left it on so long it went dark brown. Lack of experience. Fast job. My mum purchased vouchers from Manukau branch for myself and my sisters as the store appeared to be visibly nice. My sister and I read through the reviews which are quite disturbing and decided not to take the risk of experiencing the same. We went in store to request a refund however this was declined even after explaining our reason. We were recommend to explore the shop instead. We tried to use the voucher in the store however they had a couple bottles of what looked like old creams. We were advised we would have more options online. We tried to order online but when it came to checkout it asked for giftcard number but there was nothing on the card. We tried to call the shop but call went unanswered all day. Based on the reviews and our experience trying use the vouchers I definitely wouldn't recommend use of this service and definitely don't purchase vouchers. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Not impressed with my lashes. She took 20 minutes to do them and was going to charge me $90 i asked for full volume and got horrendous clumped together glue lashes instead. I felt as a Customer i was in the right to ask for half price as I did not like them at all. She called security which was fine because at the end of the day he sided with me and I could of just walked out. On top of that ger environment was disgusting everything was dirty in the cubicle that i used. Looks are deceiving from outside the shop. If you want over priced clumped glue like lashes this is your place to get them! DO NOT RECOMMEND. HAMILTON LOCATION.

Went in on the 10/11 and I normally don’t have any issues. Laid down and said ‘just tidy them up please not too much’ I got up and had a look in the mirror and my eyebrows were literally mowed off and the thinnest they have been in years. I kept saying ‘this is not what I asked for, they’re so thin’ and she kept saying no I tidy them and had to re-shape them and I was like ‘I didn’t ask for that? Why did you re-shape them’ then she says ‘ok next time you come in I will look after you’ NO HOW ABOUT YOU DO WHAT I ASKED THE FIRST TIME?! seriously ruined my eyebrows and she couldn’t even offer solutions. She just took my payment and I couldn’t get away fast enough. Horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone anymore. Literally traumatised and the lack of compassion or understanding they made a mistake I am deeply disgusted and disappointed how disconnected this place has become. They do not care about beauty or making sure you’re looked after. Literally please close down the shop or at least train your workers to do better.Service: Eyebrow threading

Manukau Mall Sisters: Have been here many times to get my eye browes shaped threaded and waxed and upperlip the lady that was working there always did a great job she is no longer there. The lady i had the last 2 times needs to get it right! My eye browes look the same i could have done it myself at home with my shaver and saved me $20. upper lip still had patches of hair on it waxing and threading she still couldn't do it properly she left cut marks under my browes. She also pulls the bloody wax off so slow its annoying!! The other reason for the low rating. The lash lady has days where she does the lashes pretty then days when one side looks more fuller then the other. And lashes falling out the same day or next day. Ive been 4x now this will be the last time i will go here for eye browes and lashes..rubbish! Waste of money dont do it ladies. I reccomend the owners get more experienced workers because these ones suck!Services: Eyelash extensions

Bro the worst experience! The lady was in a rush and she missed so many hairs but I didn’t notice till after, she also left marks on my upper lip coz the wax was way to hot one of the scabs healed after a couple days but I’ll try post a photo of it, it seems to be getting infected. I went to the Manukau store for eyebrow threading/waxing. I came away with a large red blood blister by my eyebrow. I emailed them but hear nothing back. Their service has been going downhill for a while now. They never hold the skin taut when waxing, never get all the hairs and if I ask for just threading it's like I'm asking for the world. I gave them the opportunity to right this before posting my annoyance, but I have heard nothing back. I will not be going back to Sister Beauty ever again.Services: Waxing

The worst experience I’ve ever had , went in for a lash perm, the lady was chewing food while doing my lashes and the room was so smelly . she tried to go for a second go as she did it wrong and my lashes didn’t even perm. I left after paying $73 and came home to have lunch and after lunch I looked in the mirror and my lashes went down again looking like the way it used to be . I called and I was told to come back and I did go back and I was told that they can redo it on Friday but the lady was so rude that I decided to ask for a refund and I was told I was doing too much when I asked for the refund and receipt she was extremely rude to me and told me it’s like I am paying you . She then wipe of my eyes and was so rough with wiping it off. Wouldn’t recommend anyone going there they are so unprofessional.Service: Lash perms
