We hired the centre and grounds for our National mini cars event. It was the perfect venue. We had several events running over Labour weekend that required lots of space outside for Motorkhana and car show events.nLiz Stolwyk, who managed our booking for us was so accommodating and lovely to deal with.nEverything ran smoothly.nThe sir Don Rowlands centre had ample space for us to put the vehicles on display inside, as well as seat 170 people, still with plenty of space to move around.nI also highly recommend Gourmet Delicious for catering, they run podium cafe. Their meals were delicious and tasty and everyone was well fed. They provided for all the dietary requirements we needed.nWe had several attendees use the camp ground and the facilities were clean and well maintained.nAn absolute gorgeous spot to hold an event. Highly recommend for large conferences!
Lovely facilities for any event. The two events clashed today and the cyclists were everywhere! Would advise against doubling up on large events. Along with road closures attending this was a frustration.
We were so very fortunate to be able to have the NZ jetski nationals at this venue. It has a beautiful grassy area that is all along the shore. Grandstands an event center. Fantastic parking and the staff were impeccable. Lake Karapira is stunning. @dawnd2
What a brilliant facility. Usually go they're die the Kapa Haka, but have been there for other functions. In all cases the venue was excellent.
Amazing venue option for any events. Can hold up to 1000 pax depending on setup. Beautiful situated just beside Lake Karapiro with pretty views all day and night. Highly recommend as an option when looking for hall venues for hire. Pre-booking is essential as the venue is mostly booked out for months.
