A first class service, the repair was invisible, I can highly recommend this service
A moth had eaten it's way through the right shoulder of a pale blue wool coat. I took my coat to them and they had to send it away to be repaired. Two weeks later I returned and was very pleased with the result. The repair was excellent and it is hardly noticeable that there had once been a hole there. Considering where the hole was and the colour of the coat, I was extremely pleased with their service. Expensive in one respect, but I love the coat and it was well worth spending the money to be able to wear it again. I, too, highly recommend this company.
The repair to my Tweed jacket seemed impossible without being 'noticeable'. I was quoted £75 and that it would take about two weeks. Fair enough I thought; given the complexity of the pattern and repair. The next day my phone rang and my heart sank as I imagined that they couldn't effect repair of the complex pattern without being 'noticeable. "The jacket is ready for collection", the charming gentleman said! Invisible it was! The price quoted was the price charged and returned within 24 hours. That's good old fashioned service with a smile. I am delighted to strongly recommend this company for your 'Tweed' problems!
Excellent repairs - though only for the best suits and clothes, this is not a simple patch and darn. They really are invisible, but be prepared to open your wallet. Worth it if you have bespoke suits / dresses / lovely sweaters etc.
Excellent repair to my jacket. It's a lot cheaper than a new suit, so a skill I'm happy to pay for. Service was conducted by phone and mail which was friendly, helpful and quick.
I showed up at 17.15, when the store was due to close at 17.30. The clerk told me she was closing at 17.15, given the lady who usually works until 17.30 had to finish early. I think the clerk had an Uber scheduled to arrive. We discussed the repairs required to the garment and another gentleman arrived at the store to which the clerk announced, “oh for God’s sake”, before turning the “closed” sign on the entrance door. Anyway, I couldn’t leave my garment there because I didn’t have a cash deposit and the lady behind the desk clearly didn’t want to wait two minutes while I walked to an ATM. I appreciate things happen during the day and stores have to close early, but this is bad customer service. Who in 2019 does not accept card payments and quotes for consumer services ex-VAT? Invisible stitching is a dying art form and a premium service. With this customer service I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
I am living in Cyprus and asked a friend to take my grey pinstripe suit jacket to you for repair, on his return to London some months ago. He has just delivered it, wow! Your experts have done a tip-top job of the repair. I can't see where the damage had been, amazing! Many thanks from a well chuffed customer
Possibly the name may be promising the impossible, so you should go with expectations set accordingly, but I think they are probably the best in their field. I took a much loved pair of trousers to be repaired, having slipped and fallen over in them and damaged the knee. The repair isn't completely invisible - I don't think it ever could be - but it's only noticeable if you're close up and looking for it. At £120 for a roughly 10 pence piece sized area of repair the service isn't cheap, but the "reweaving" they do is highly specialised and I assume the price reasonably reflects the amount of time that goes into a repair. The trousers were bespoke, so it made sense for me when compared to the price of having a new pair made assuming of course the same cloth to match the jacket could still be found. The turnaround was much quicker than they originally quoted - I was first told it would be almost three weeks as they'd need to send them away, they actually ended up making the repairs on-site had it done in two days.
Very good craftsmanship, expensive, but I could never have done it myself. Moths had eaten their way through my beautiful cashmere MaxMara coat, and without the mending service I could never have worn it again.
Went to get a jacket altered as I thought it needed some work but was told it was just fine as it was and they wouldn't take my money. Both of the chaps there seemed very friendly and will definitely use them in the future.
