Story

Simply Fresh has been a feature of the North Shore for over 50 years. We are committed to bringing affordable, honest fresh food to our Community.

We have 400 square metres of fresh fruit and vegetables and a reputation for providing the freshest and best value fruit and vegetables in Auckland.

There is a small area devoted to grocery with products being made available that are usually hard to find such as sauces, chutneys and a wonderful array of herbs and spices. Simply Fresh also provides for many local restaurants, schools and rest homes that value the regular supply of fresh produce through it's growing Wholesale department.

Surprisingly, a great place! Amazing wine, incredible tiramisu, and the risotto with seafood had a ton of seafood on it - though it was a little too salty, but still recommend to try. A little on the pricier side, but worth a visit for a nice dinner.
The restorant has a very good location. The service and the waiters were perfect. The kapreze salad was done with a tomatoes with bad quality. The tiramisu was one of the best that i eat. To be honest my expectations was much higher.
Don’t punish yourself. The food is totally average, but the prices are extremely high. The same quality risotto as the one on the picture all around the city Centre would cost between 7-10 EUR. At this restaurant it’s 14 EUR. The same with everything else on the menu. But you don’t get better quality - just average food. The waiters didn’t smile even for a second. There was also very unpleasant moment of waiters and some people maybe the owner/a shouting over our heads. They didn’t hear each other and instead coming closer, they just shouted. It felt very unpleasant. You can get the same quality almost anywhere nearby, but cheaper.
Amazing italian restaurant, one of the best in town. Definitely the best pasta carbonara in Bulgaria, and not only. Tiramisu and beef tartar are also standouts.
This looked like a hip restaurant, so we intended to visit for a while. At the time that we arrived at most ⅓ of the tables 5, to be exact! were occupied, it wasn't exactly buzzing with activity. We were given the menus, and then we waited for 15 minutes for someone to get our order. Since it didn't happen, we had to go and look for the waiter to remind him that we were ready to order. The order was taken, and then we started waiting... for 45 minutes, at which point we decided that even a hip risotto isn't worth so much waiting. We requested the bill and cancelled the risotto. The staff instantly became defensive aggressive, there were justifications such as "that table ordered 11 main dishes", etc. One would think that a restaurant with more than 15 tables and more than 3 waiters should be able to cook main dishes for 11 people in less than an hour, no? And we're not talking about French gourmet food, which takes long time to prepare, but rather about regular Mediterranean style dishes. Apart from that, one of the two salads that we had a tabbouleh was barely edible. TL;DR As hip as it looks, the staff's attitude and the food don't match the looks.

Truffle pizza was delicious. The dough was fluffy and nicely baked. I totally recommend this place.
Honestly, for an Italian restaurant this is just pretty expensive and not worth your money for the quality and quantity of food they deliver. The interior is fine and the staff is friendly but beyond that it's normal Italian Dishes 3x the normal price. You can do better.
Service is kind of retarded, but food and atmosphere is very good, great actually.
