Great service and very friendly people. They also rent a house in which we spend the night.
This isn’t the Ritz. It’s a country pub and way better. You will be valued as you enjoy stunning meals, good drinks and a beer garden. Don’t drive past this place
Omg. What a great food here to try. Pork belly bites n eye fillets n lamb rump are all highly recommended. It’s very family friendly even though it’s more like bar style with so much history to tell. Also superb customer service. If u have a chance to come, or just stop for a quick bite. U will fall in love this amazing restaurant.
Chanced upon them while driving along the Fairlie-Tekapo highway. First impression was that it looked like a local bar/pub. Many locals around for lunch. The lady at the counter was very friendly. We ordered the roasted vegetables salad and the pulled-pork tacos. Both were delicious. We then ordered the sticky date pudding, also delicious. Atmosphere was great too. We were so lucky to chance upon this gem.
We visited the Silverstream Pub following a recommendation from a couple of locals and we were glad we took them up on their suggestion.nnThey offer main meals from 5pm onwards but if you're there before 5pm, like we were, you can order Burgers and possibly light snacks.nnThe burgers were very tasty, especially the Pulled Pork Burger. It went down nicely with a local craft beer.nnThe staff were very welcoming and engaging.nnThe Pub is showing its age, with a couple of areas in the ceiling which have seen better days but the staff and the food were top notch.nnDefinitely worth stopping in for a drink or a good feed.
