CFD is Cheryl Fowler-Duff!
With many years as an Interior Designer, Cheryl wanted to branch out into her other passions, so trained as a Professional Makeup Artist, Personal Colour Consultant and Stylist. As well as doing the makeup for Weddings and Special Events, she freelanced for Woman's Day, Woman's Weekly and New Idea Magazines and was privileged to work on the Mitre 10 Dream Home live show as their Makeup Artist. A highlight of her career was working on the 'Lord of the Rings' movies where she travelled throughout New Zealand as crew and worked in the Wardrobe Department, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the world of making movies. With her love of jewellery, she was asked to join Michael Hill Jewellers' new store in Ashburton and trained as a Diamontologist - specialising in Diamonds - Engagement and Wedding rings. There is nothing like the joy on a couple's face when they have found their perfect, 'forever' rings!

On a perfect day in February, Cheryl combined all of her skills to design a wedding from 'top to toe'. After being flooded with comments on the absolute beauty of the wedding, she decided it was time to set up her own Wedding & Event Company, using her skills, passion and experience to help others achieve this for themselves. She offers her services in choosing Rings, Bridal Wear, Special Attire and Makeup; and if she can't do it, will point you in the direction of another professional who can. She works alongside other specialists to complete your special day, including Ashburton U-Hire who also have a Commercial Catering Kitchen. From set-up to pack-down, her aim is to take the stress away from you so that you can get on and enjoy the time you have with the ones you love!
