Lovely cinema. We always come here because of the comfortable reclining chairs and awesome service. I accidentally spilled my drink and the team immediately replaced it and tidied, after I insisted on cleaning it up. I felt so embarrassed but they had such empathy and were so kind. Give them a pay raise
Absolutely love going here. Seats are comfortable, love getting the blankets. Food is great and since it was my birthday month, I got not only a free movie ticket but a yummy brownie with two scoops of ice-cream! This is my hubby and my favorite date night place to go! Staff are awesome as well and treat us like family!
Nice movie place. Screen is not too big but with good sounds. So the experience is better. Chairs are comfy too. With food service once you order.
The seats are so comfy and the sound system and screen are great however, the food service is such a disappointment ! it takes so long to get served and then the wait to get your order drinks ice cream and popcorn is exhausting. 10.15 I brought the movie tickets. The movie was starting at 10.30. I should have been in and seated but the 2 cokes I ordered took so long they weren't ready until 10.45 so we missed the beginning of the movie and had to walk in in the dark. The food service ruins the experience.
Silky Otter in Palmy is such a nice spot. The seats are insanely comfy, the place is spotless, the whole atmosphere feels way more upmarket than your standard cinema. The food came out quick and was deliciousnnAlso… side note, but kind of important, the duty manager was hot. Like, distractingly good looking. Friendly too, which honestly made the whole experience even better.nnI will 100% be coming backnnUpdate: Again a 10/10, unfortunately my eye candy was not there but nevertheless the service was amazing. The food...... just wow absolutely scrumptious. If you're after a luxurious movie experience, Silky Otter is hands down the best cinema in Palmerston North.
