Sidewinder is a beer crafted for enjoying once the work is done. Apres work, slide, ski, ride, Sidewinder tastes better once earned.
Founded by mates, Dave and Luc in the Southern Alps of New Zealand, their micro brewery in Wanaka is their passion, with each brew heaved full of malt, hops, clear water and happiness.

LOVE GROUND UP! Best beer in Central Otago. Staff is lovely to chat with. Great selection, always bringing out new beers. Never had one I didn’t like. A must visit for beer lovers. Make sure to bring your growler, you’ll want to bring some home!

I’ve bought beer from Ground Up lots of times, they’re great to deal with and their beer is brilliant! I had their KPA and Crag Dog at my wedding. Highly recommended.
Fantastic range of beers. Great to see cellar door open and a chance to do a brewery tour.
Amazing place to do a tasting. I tried 5 different beers and I enjoyed everyone one of them. The staff was great! I highly recommend a stop if you are in the area!
No pints. Tasters and take away. Great beer though. Thoroughly enjoyed the ones that we tried, including a sour. I recommend for the conversation and beer!

The guy in the store today was nice and accommodating. Gave us a brewery tour and a short overview of the craft beer industry, as well as few samples of their best brews. Their Session IPA and NZ IPAs are good!
