Saw the below sign out front recently. Probably welcoming to certain illegal occupiers, but if you're part of the majority you should probably avoid. Update 03/23: Raided by Police shortly after for operating illegally, and without license.
All round great time. We celebrated my sons 21st at Shooters in November 2022. The staff were friendly, down to earth, and awesome hosts. The bar was well set up for an event with great entertainment for everyone. The mechanical bull was popular and a great laugh, and pool table and dance area gave us heaps of different things to do. The outside fires also made it a great atmosphere. The whole night was awesome! Not a drama or complaint to be found.
Secure and the owner is really friendly. The room the we stayed in was ok, we payed for what its worth. only one light was working so i was pretty dark and it wasn't very clean clean enough. in the room there is a shower really nice, bar fridge, coffee etc, kettle and a heater. Sheets were clean. the host is a very lively person though
Owner and staff are racist beyond measure. Accommodating a widely publicised anti Māori rally possibly for publicity and are quite proud of themselves.

Had my 21st function here. Provided a decent venue with good food and staff at a very reasonable price. However was very unimpressed when the venue manager Shawn put another party in the downstairs venue that I had exclusively hired out. He only informed me of this after my party had already begun. I communicated to him that this was not professional at all, to which he replied that it supposedly had nothing to do with me, nor did it affect my party at all. So yeah, hire this venue at your own risk
We would not go back. As others have mentioned we were very mislead by false internet pictures. Our room was horrendous, shared bathroom/toilet like a backpackers, shared with 100 students at a party. Bathroom smelt like urine/vomit and had a broken extremly noisy fan. Room was so uncomfortably hot! Feel ripped off paying $85.. Good things were Nice friendly owner. Comfy bed. Other than that not a nice venue just a bit of a sleazy pub that needs a good clean.
