Absolutely can’t recommend this company and experience enough! Our captain Mike and his crew mates Jorja and Jordan were fantastic, as was the lovely woman checking us in at the shop I’m sorry I didn’t get your name!. This company takes safety of both the humans and the marine life very seriously—they ensure that this is an ethical way to interact with the sharks. You have plenty of time and opportunities to be in the cage watching the sharks! The lunch and drinks provided were great. DEFINITELY bring warm clothes and a thick towel for when you’re between cage sessions because the water and air were frigid!nnWe saw 5 great whites in total and there was absolutely never a dull moment!nnThank you so much to Shark Experience for this bucket list adventure!
Completely epic experience. My partner and I came down to Bluff as a joint 40th birthday present for ourselves and to tick this experience off our bucket list. Amazing team of people, all super friendly and helpful. We got to see 4 great whites and they were definitely up close and what amazing creatures they are. This experience certainly did not dissapoint, the waters were really clear which surprised me and really enjoyed it. Definitely a 5 out of 5 and I am not a huge fan of sharks but am so glad I did it.nThank you guys.
This was one of the most incredible experiences ever!nnEverything was perfect. We felt extremely safe and well taken care of. Huge recommendationnnIf im not wrong they see sharks 94% of the days they go.
Wonderful crew! Amazing experience for our 14year old son, his Dad and Pops to remember forever. Can't thank the team enough for letting us tag along and watch the sharks in their natural habitat.
Unreal experience, we saw 5 sharks and had plenty of opportunity to go into the cage. We had Terry as Skipper and Jordan & Clarice looking after us and providing training. The journey to and from the dive site is really rough - I was ill A LOT, big thank you to Jordan for looking after me.nThey were also super supportive especially when getting into the cage for the first time - I freaked out a bit with my breathing but they kept me calm and I really enjoyed the experience.nYou can tell the crew really care about the sharks and love what they do which makes you feel at ease and adds to the experiencenOne of the best things we’ve done in NZ!
