This team and crew are incredible and very focused on safety and education, for the divers and sharks alike. I appreciated the passion, knowledge, and effort around educating the public/divers about sharks and their vital role contributing to a healthy ecosystem. Everything was very well organized, communication was excellent, we felt comfortable and stress-free the entire time, and were thrilled to have this rich experience!
I know this company/tour has been mentioned in the past, but I wanted to give them another positive review!nnMy husband and I went cage diving with great white sharks in Bluff with The Shark Experience and it was INCREDIBLE!nnWe were so lucky with beautiful sunny weather and calm conditions. We saw 4 sharks! The staff were so nice and great instructors since we have no diving experience and great wet suits to help us stay warm in those cold waters.nnI highly recommend for anyone looking for an unbelievable adventure!
An Unforgettable Shark Cage Diving Experience!nnShark cage diving was one of the best days ever! The entire experience was so well-organized from start to finish, making it smooth and stress-free. The team was absolutely excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about what they do. They made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable while still making the experience thrilling and unforgettable. Seeing these magnificent creatures up close was truly breathtaking.nnIf you're thinking about doing it, don’t hesitate—it’s an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend! I would do it again in a heart beat
This is premium service. Even if we don’t see any sharks today, I would still give this a 6 stars if I could. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and informative. I love how the organization collect data and keep track of the sightings. We actually really appreciate how they use bait and not feeding the sharks which make it a more natural experience for us and also for the great white. We were very lucky today to have amazing sunny warm weather when the forecast was calling for rain. We had a slow start as there were no sightings at all then we moved to another area hoping to see some sharks and still nothing then one great white showed up and kept swimming around us for an hour or so. We also really appreciate all the snacks and lunch and hot tea provided. Highly recommend this activity and it’s totally worth the drive.
I’ve had the most amazing time on this experience. The crew and staff were just incredible and full of energy! The training was super easy to follow and the trainer was super patient. Most importantly we saw 8 sharks! Apparently, it’s one of the few places where you will almost definitely see a shark. Left at 630 and was back at about 230pm. We had good weather and so we all had enuf time with the sharks. Would recommend anyone in the South Island to not miss out on this opportunity!
