Shake, Rattle and Roll Music is the first class I took my baby to when he was 3 months old. He absolutely loved it and loves it even more now at 10 months. Susan is the best- she is a child magnet. My son adores her. We listen to her set list for each session every morning during breakfast as our morning routine and he claps and dances the whole time, just as he does during music class. He smiles the entire time Susan plays her music, which is eclectic and entertaining not your typical kid songs we’ve all heard for years on end. My son now knows how to play the drum and many other instruments, thanks to this class. Susan introduces families to one another to make connections, which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend enrolling in Shake, Rattle and Roll Music!
My 2 year old son loves this class. He especially likes the songs with the eggs or ball. The instructors and very friendly and interactive with the kids. Susan works hard to make administration of the class smooth. I would recommend this class to folks looking for a learning and social activity for their toddler.
I very luckily stumbled upon shake rattle and roll while out on an afternoon walk with my daughter. Susan introduced herself and what the class was all about. We got to sit in at the end of that class and my daughter was so into the guitar, music, and everything about the class! We signed up for the rest of the sessions that season and the following started at 5 months old and now over 1 - best thing we ever did! We look forward to music class every week! My daughter starts playing the instruments before class starts and doesn’t stop the entire time. To say she LOVES this class, Susan, and Mark is an understatement. If you are hesitant about signing your baby up for this class too young, don’t be! It’s such a special thing when you can learn and grow with your little in a new environment!
We absolutely loved Shake Rattle and Roll classes for our 1 year old daughter! Our teacher Mark has a great energy and is so good with kids and the owner Susan is super accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend Shake Rattle and Roll!
My son LOVES Shake, Rattle & Roll. He has been attending the class since he was about a year old he's now 2.5 and he has enjoyed it at all different stages. He asks to listen to the music at home and sometimes even plays "music class" at home and pretends to be the music teacher. We have had two different instructors and both were great - super energetic and good at engaging with the kids. If you are looking for a music class for young kids in Westchester, you can't go wrong with Shake, Rattle & Roll!
Shake Rattle and Roll is a wonderful music program for babies and toddlers! My child has been exposed to so many different songs from different cultures. She has interacted with other children and has learned through music and dance. She loved playing all the musical toys and doing the interactive actives for each song. Shake Rattle & Roll provides a fun and interactive environment. This program offered variety in routine, so it was never boring!! It’s also telling when my daughter is always excited when she knows she is going to class. When we get to the building, she wants to run right in and join the fun.
Easily 5 stars for Shake, Rattle & Roll in Bronxville!!! My three kids just love it. I enjoy it too, especially watching my baby stand up and dance along to the music. They are accommodating, welcoming and really show the kids a good time. Plus we feel really safe despite heightened anxiety due to covid.
We absolutely love the class and strongly recommend it for all the youngsters! My daughter has been taking the class since she was 6 month old, she is two now and we have not missed a semester yet. Every semester we get new songs and new experience. Lot of fun and excitement not only for the kids but for the parents as well. Kids are exposed to many different instruments and different types of music from all over the world. Lots of singing, dancing, and simply Amazing!!!! Love, love, love it!!!!
This is a terrific music class and my 1.5 year old daughter really enjoys it. We took the class last spring and just started the fall session. Susan, the owner and musician, is very creative and makes sure everyone feels included and participates. Most of the songs I had never heard before but I learned them quickly and catch myself humming them outside of class. Susan was also kind enough to give me a CD so now my older son can belt out the songs in the car. With the use of scarves, instruments and dancing, the class is interactive and a lot of fun. I come out of the class feeling energized and my daughter is ready for a nap. Win-win!
Shake, Rattle and Roll is such a fantastic program! My son absolutely loves the class and not only is it incredibly enriching in terms of music, sound and rhytym, but it also serves as a fantastic opportunity for him to interact with other little ones and has also grown his confidence immensely. As a side benefit, it's also a wonderful way to meet other moms in the neighborhood!
