ShadeSpace CUBE is an elegant new outdoor shelter solution designed to meet the challenge of New Zealand’s climate.

Story

CUBE is an elegant new product line designed to meet New Zealand’s outdoor shelter requirements. Incorporating clean, solid timber spans, CUBE is an uncluttered and relaxing haven from the summer sun and prevailing winds.

CUBE is available with an internal height of 2.3m and lengths and widths of 2.6m, 3.8m or 5m, with the flexibility of connecting multiple CUBE units to provide larger spaces. Integration with existing buildings and structures is straightforward, with the use of steps or ramps and a range of canopy extension solutions.

In most circumstances, CUBE installation will not require council consent. (Consent is required for CUBE with: louvres over 20sqm, deck heights over 1.5m and locations less than 1m from property boundaries.)

Fabrication in our Te Kowhai production facility allows us to provide:

Accuracy - we construct each CUBE with high accuracy and precision.
Cleanliness - minimal dust and disturbance is produced during installation.
Speed - most units can be fully installed in 2 days, reducing disruption.
Value - production efficiency enables highly competitive pricing with no surprises.

Timber Treatment and Finish

Decking and timber frame are treated to the requirements of the New Zealand building code and then finished with CD50 Extreme™, which is available in a range of colour tones.

Canopy Solutions

The standard CUBE comes with a fixed mesh canopy, the following upgrades are available:
Fixed - Waterproof PVC*
Retractable - mesh (Waterproof coming soon!)
Louvre - high quality aluminium opening louvres

Screen Solutions

The following options are available:
Fixed - decorative plastic or stainless steel.
Fixed - woven shade mesh or clear PVC.
Roll-up systems - side zippers with woven shade mesh or clear PVC.
Tracked retractable systems - spring loaded with woven shade mesh or clear PVC.
Mesh Roller blinds - Installed in combination with clear PVC options to stop sun-strike.

Note: We use only top quality architectural grade pretension woven mesh and waterproof PVC cloth available in a wide selection of colours.

Spa Pools

ShadeSpace are dealers of the Forméleisure™ Spa pool range. CUBE can be easily integrated with spa pools.
