The Sew It team embodies everything customer service should be. Chris, Campbell, Lynette and Shannon all take time to listen and to demonstrate the machines for all levels of sewing. I have taken beginners in there as well as experienced machinists and the same care and service is offered to everyone. They also carry a wide range of product at very competitive pricing and after sales service is second to none. A small business at the top of their game!
A fantastic treasure trove for creatives! Their excellent personal service and knowledge about all things sewing machine and quilting, sewing etc is matched only by their efficient dispatching of safely packaged purchases. Delighted to have found them! The scissors I bought from them for arthritic hands has been a game changer and I’m back to sewing and creating.
Fantastic and prompt service. Ordered a sewing machine for my daughter for Christmas, and it arrived promptly, with clear communication about it and when to expect it. Delighted with the service, and I look forward to buying other things from them in the future.

I coordinate a charitable community knitting project and was looking for a care label we could sew to our blankets. Looking online, I found SewIt who are based in Christchurch, and found exactly what I was looking for: custom, high quality labels. Chris and Campbell have been incredibly supportive of our project and are lovely to deal with Susan too. Although communication can sometimes be a little slow, they are always helpful, friendly and generous, and their products are just as they are advertised.
