I have used the Sewing Machine Centre in the past for servicing and for buying a new sewing machine, which was a great experience. This time I needed the foot control pedal fixed, and it was done extremely fast. I appreciated the great customer service and the ease of the non-contact drop off and pickup and would highly recommend this business :
Just back from a lesson on how to use my new Elna overlocker. Couldn't get it sewing nicely and had no help from where I bought it from. Rudie to the rescue. I now know a whole lot more about it and how to obtain correct tension etc!! Fantastic. Not the first time our family have been there for repairs. What wonderful service so would highly recommend.
I recently bought a new sewing machine with the team from Sewing machine centre. I would have to say this was by far my BEST experience with any custormer service provider. They were quick to respond to all my questions through their facebook page. Helped me pick a great sewing machine and when there was trouble with the machine supplier, they ensured that it was all sorted. Not just sorted, but they searched high & low for a machine and delivered it to me so fast. I am looking forward to my continued work with these guys. I'm currently looking at things to buy from them just because they are so great! :

Yesterday I bought a heavy duty Brother sewing machine at the Sewing Repair Centre. Ruedi was a fantastic help and a pleasure to deal with. I have already used the machine to repair 3 canvass items and make some new hatch covers. The machine easy to use, fantastic addition of a self threader. Really happy thank you.
Highly recommended - I rang Rudie at about 3pm, arrived at 4pm and he fixed my machine in 10-15 minutes. He was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He didn't even want to charge me for his work. It's very rare to find such a good customer service and kindness in today's marketplace. Thank you so much, Rudie!!!
Awesome service from sewing machine centre with a great overlocker i needed special advice for a specific thing i am overlocking and they were excellent with helping me via email, i am so happy with the service I received fast, friendly and helpful staff. The overlocker is perfect for the job i will definitely be using them again when i decide i need to get a new sewing machine and also for machine servicing. 5 stars from me
Fantastic service - Rudie very competently fixed my Overlocker fault - it now cuts and sews like a dream! Rudie is very knowledgeable and gives lots of helpful advice. Quickly fixed issue and great price too! Highly recommended AAA+++
I've taken two different sewing machines to Rudy to fix in the last 12 months and am so impressed with his work and attitude, that I plan on taking my overlocker to him even though it doesn't need repairing! Just for a maintenance and clean up. His prices are extremely competitive, and I haven't found many places that charged less. He makes it easy to drop off your sewing machine by having three wooden chests outside his house with padlocks on them so that you can drop off your machine at your leisure. He's also pretty darn good about when you pick up your machine and pay for it. I can't recommend him highly enough! Just one comment - if you own a sewing machine, it should be serviced every few years, much like you'd expect to look after a car :
I took 2 machines,a Bernette & a Husqivana to be fixed.I was told the Husqivana could not be fixed but Rudie found the problems & I now have 2 machines that are working perfectly.I found him to be extremely helpful & kept me informed of costs which turned out to be really reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptional job & reasonably priced. Barbara
