We both worked for Corrections NZ for a total of 47 years as Frontline Senior Corrections Officers. We were also Senior Members of the Prison Advanced Control and Restraint Squad(ACR) trained to shut down Riotous situations. I taught the staff Control and Restraint for 18 years and finished as a Regional Instructor certified to Train the Trainers. James was a Section Commander in the ACR. He is a 5th Dan Black Belt in Kyokushin Karate Matsushima Group, a 1st Dan Black Belt in Judo, an Internationally Certified Martial Arts Referee and training for his Boxing Coaches certificate. Together we bring excellent skills and we are very passionate about all of it which inspired us to start this business.
