Purchased a caravan from here, on the face of it, amazing, very nice people, easy sales etc…. But do not focus on what they say there going to do. Damage to the rear wasn’t sorted, promised to but didn’t, the toilet repair caused a near fire when the dodgy repair that left a wiring loom in the flush section shorted, fridge had a gas leak, was not valeted as stated, left with mold in the fridge and around door seals. Would not recommend. Also told us features the van didn’t actually have, it was only when we part exchanged it the garage we purchased second time round said he saw us coming! They repair damaged vans on site also … not an impressive outfit to be honest.
I can't say how good these are because I have been a few times when they are meant to be open on the days they say they are open we have sat for 30 minutes and no one turned up this is no way to run a business
Saw a caravan advert on eBay at this place. Did a 90 mile round trip to have a look. Waste of time. Over 40% damp under the van in the back corners. Very untidy van, no service history. Had a look at 2 others while we were there also very damp underneath with over 40% moisture readings and guess what little or no service history No straight answers from the owner or doesn't give correct answers. If you ask him something about the van he just says 'don't know' Looked at one van while I was there and said it didn't look very wide his response was "all caravans are the same width' If you do decide to look at caravan's at this place check them over well before you hand over you cash.
Brought our new van Saturday cant wait to pick it up this Saturday. Hopefully David as got it checked but he said we can go on our holiday next week and he will get it checked when back . David is a brilliant dealer he don't stand no messing about his caravans are all good standard and quality. It was a pleasure to walk around and its set out nicely .Great set up.See you Saturday David.
Highly recommend! We bought a caravan from here around 4 months ago. We traded in our small 2 berth for the new 4 berth. We hoped to get a bit more money for the one we part exchanged but agreed a price. A month later we used our new van for first holiday and had a few issues. We contacted select caravans and were worried they'd say it was 'sold as seen' and not help, but this wasn't the case at all. They were excellent. They sorted out the issues free of charge. We've just used it again for second time and now seems all good. Really good after sale support Thank you.
It was a pleasure to do business with David and Diana. Very helpful and put us at ease during the purchase of our Bailey Caravan. They spotted a minor problem with the caravan which was put right before collection. Its nice to sit and have a cuppa and talk caravans without pressure. Caravan was ready to collection when arranged and was spotless. If we ever decided to buy another caravan we would not hesitate to go straight to them again. Cannot recommend highly enough, old fashioned service and customer care. Thanks again.
Just brought a 2008 bailey ranger 510/4 really happy with it. David was brilliant. I’m new to the caravan scene so I asked a lot of questions but that wasn’t a problem for David he was great his 30plus years experience was handy. So if you want a trouble free experience I highly recommend select caravans.
Just bought a bailey senator well pleased David was a great bloke no pushy salesmanship and all where so chilled even after a sad loss if there pet dog on the day we arrived they still made sure to look after us
We Purchased our caravan from Select Caravans after spending many hours scanning the internet, I must say that we could have saved a lot of time by just going to see them first, such a wide range of choices and not at the high prices charged by caravan dealers.
